Comment

This slender terrestrial orchid has a hollow green onion-like leaf. It is common throughout south-eastern Australia in open forest, heathy forest and woodland.

It is so unusual to have a green flower. I'm going to add it to one of my "lists". :D

 

Perhaps list this flower for an eventual follow up shoot using the Rayfact 105/4.5 with an extension tube to get a close-up of a single flower, yes?

You could also look at the two Pterostylis greenhood orchids which also have green flowers, as do most "greenhoods" I was getting a bit tired of focussing with Live View on the day I took this so I'm surprised the UV shot wasn't even more out of focus.
