Comment

Eremophila maculata (meaning spotted, referring to the spots in the flowers) is one of the most widespread species in the genus. The structure of the flower is relatively uniform within the species with the exception of the colour and the spotting. The corolla comes in many colours from pale pink, through to deep pink, red, yellow and apricot. This particular form has sometimes been given the informal name ‘Dusky Pink’. This species is pollinated by birds, especially honeyeaters.
