Muell. ex Benth.Bondtia alternifolia orth. var. KuntzeStenochilus alternifolius (R.Br.) Kraenzl. CommentThe name refers to the leaves being alternate along the stem. This eremophila was described by Robert Brown in 1870 and has been widely grown for many years in a variety of soils. The corolla can be carmine, pink or yellow with considerable variation in leaf form. The first visible light image illustrates the benefit of focus stacking for such deep flowers.
