dabateman Posted July 3, 2021 Share Posted July 3, 2021 OD 4 will not be enough. For a digital camera you may need OD 7 or 8. I would expect these to still leak some IR. Unless you filter your strong low pressure mercury bulb. Link to comment

dabateman Posted July 4, 2021 Share Posted July 4, 2021 Actually if you bought 3, placed one on each 15W germacidal bulb and one on the camera, you might be ok. You would have to rig up a tube to hold it over your bulb and have it pointing at your subject. But that would be saver to cover up side leakage from your bulb. That would be cheaper than buying a proper one which cost over $500 for same size. Link to comment
