Strawberries in blue induced IR and red fluorescence (650nm+)

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased a 15w blue spotlight from eBay, it was extremely cheap and I gotta say it's priceless, very bright, causes a lot of fluorescence to happen. I filter it with a QB39 at the source and on the lens I use an unbranded ebay 650nm longpass. Shot with a full spectrum Canon 1100D.

That looks really cool, those seeds stand out very well. Filtering your blue LED is a nice improvement, probably you won't get rid of all non-blue light with that filter but it doesn't matter, as long as you like the results.

Thanks, indeed I suspect there is some sort of visible leak with the filter, maybe even a little blue light. I thought I might stack another red filter if I ever get one.

Nice IR fluorescence

That looks great.

And best way to clean up a plate. Just only shine blue light on it.

Fandyus, Very nice!

Thanks!
