It covers the border in front of some rose bushes in the garden. The flowers open in early morning and close up towards the end of the day. In ultraviolet light, the petals are UV-bright, a very pale false-yellow. The distal portion of the filaments/anthers are UV-dark. The proximal portion of the filaments are pale false-blue. There is a diffuse, false-blue, central bull's-eye. In all three wavelbands the petals show some iridescence. Reference:1.
