Colin,

Glad to see that you finally have your hands on a converted Sigma fp.

Great colors on the UVA shot.

Thanks Gary

I haven't done the surgery yet, this is all in visible.

I had better explain that......

Just put UVIVF somewhere in the original post, that will take care of confusion. But you don’t get colors like that in reflected UV anyhow. All that orange (?) wouldn’t be there.

Nice one, Colin.

What 254nm light source are you using?

I am using UVC fluoro tube with a U330 filter.

Cool, big difference between the UVA and UVC fluorescence. Colin did you have the same white balance for both of those?

Good question.

I left it to the camera, on Auto WB.

I did move the colour picker to more closely match to my eye....

Could I have done better ?

No, I was just wondering. I'm very lazy when I do UVIVF and just leave it on daylight whitebalance, so am always intrigued by what everyone else does.

Thanks Johnathan

Because I am getting myself back into photography after a long break & with a new camera, & this was with reflected visible light, I let the camera do the guess work, & I was happy with the result & only gave it a tweak in post.
