My first UVIVF: eggs, lichens, mosses and flowers

Hi everyone! I have been looking at your posts to learn UVIVF and get ideas of subject matters.

These are my first attempts, I am quite pleased with the results!

(Sorry not sure how to embed photos in the post, they are showing all at the end)

The eggs I saw 3 posts in here and they blew my mind so I wanted to give it a go, I had no idea they glowed red!

Then lichens and moss from my local park. I am amazed by the lichen and I am going to go get more specimens tomorrow.

And then finally I think its a type of viburnum but please correct me.

Nice photos. What is your setup? Torch, camera, lens...

To attach images, you have to go to the bottom, search for them, attach them and then add them to the post. If you don't do the last passage, they will show up as they did here.

Nice work!

Please tell us what gear and lighting you are using? We always enjoy learning how members make their photos.

Have you read through our reference?

My setup is very.... Lets say low cost!

But its perfect for me :)

Panasonic lumix tmz100 ( bridge camera, this is my only expensive item)

+4 or +10 "closeup filters" to simulate macro.

Cheap mini tripod ( one of those with the bendy legs for phones and gopros)

The torch is a cheap torch I must have got on amazon years ago, it says LE as the brand. Id say its around 365nm since its less violet than the 395nm ones, but I cant be sure.

And then a ZWB2 I stuck on the torch with gorilla tape :D, not perfect but it makes such a difference!

Thanks for the link!

Absolutely brilliant, esp. for a first attempt. Lichen/moss looks like a promising subject. It would be interesting to see visible light shots for comparison.
