Lotus uliginosus SchkuhrNO: FõrtirltungeSE: Stor käringtandDK: Sump-Kællingetand FI: Isomaite DE: Sumpf-Hornklee EN: Greater Bird's-foot-trefoil This is a medium tall, to 0.5m, perennial species native to Europe. It occurs on damp meadows and in secondary habitats such as road verges. Plants collected near Oslo, Norway 13 June, 2012. They were initially identified as Lotus corniculatus L. var. sativus Chkorta. (var. sativus Hyl..). However, I changed this later due to the hollow stems, size of the plants, and clearly visible side veins of the foliage. Do keep in mind the final identification is tentative and more material of this taxon needs to be investigated. Thus, pictures alone might not suffice for critical taxa.
