GaryR
These are recent shots with Sony a7R/ Nikkor 50mm/f1.8 Ai and #12 Y + XNite CC2 stack. Again, using the NS profile injected into the converted DNG file. The original NS workflow recommends shooting with Daylight WB, but I prefer CWB on a gray target. When importing into PS Camera Raw, I adjust the Temp and Tint sliders. I did try substituting the CC2 with a KG3, but ended up with way too much purple for my liking. Link to comment
colinbm
Some funky colours in the first, the others are a good bunch too. Link to comment
Cadmium
Garry, Very nice photos.CC1 = BG38CC2 = KG1 (a weaker version of KG3)So stacking CC2 + KG3 is the same as stacking KG1 + KG3 (which is the black line on the last graph below). Link to comment
GaryR
Thanks Colin. I included the first one, just to show the EIR color switches (ie. red cars and sign switch to green, taillights turn yellow, etc.). Much appreciated Andy ! Thanks for graphs Steve. KG* filters are a very versatile range filters, for sure. Good to know about the KG1, in case I break my CC2. I'll give the KG3 another try over the summer. Link to comment
dabateman
Interesting colors. After looking at these and thinking about the GRB3 images, I would say my Chinese GRB3 at 2mm is closer to KG1 than KG3. Just about in the middle.I will hopefully have time to run it on my spectrometer soon. Link to comment
OlDoinyo
The greens are unexpected in the first frame--I rarely see such a color in this kind of image, except perhaps from red LEDs. Otherwise, the color looks very film-like. Link to comment
GaryR
Thanks Clarke,The NS profile, does a good job of re-creating the color switches related to aerochrome processing. Link to comment
