It's a pretty simple design so likely can be of some UV use if only the upper UV(A) range is considered. However, like other modern lenses, it is multi-coated. I would find a lens better suited were this my camera.

An unpretentious, and cheap, Nikon SE 50/1.8 will fit nicely and give a much better UV performance all things considered.
