OH MY!! (Not exactly what I'm saying in my head though. La!)

Super cool shot because of that wary egret in the corner. Alligators are so prehistoric looking.

Using Vis+IR for this photo works well to tame the complexity of the plants and debris.

My sis has a lake house in Texas and there are alligators. I must get there sometime and make UV/IR alligator photos. From a distance.

Thanks Very Much Andrea !!!

   I know exactly what you mean, There's always been 2 of them and I could never see or find the 2nd one. Even though we were up on an Elevated Walkway, Still They're pretty Crafty !!!

I know all the Shore Birds give them a wide berth and are very wary of them.

We love it down on the Coast, and Yes You do need to come to Texas !!!

Thanks again, Take Care,

Craig

Very cool - did you take any IR-only images as well? Just wondering if there are any differences in the gator skin in IR vs VIS.

Hi Mark,

Thanks, This is IR 590nm modded camera

Take Care,

Craig
