Australian Native Wildflower as Garden Specimen

 

Synonym

Eriocalia major Sm.

 

Comments:

Actinotus helianthi is a common species native to the bushland around Sydney. The genus consists of about 17 species endemic to Australia with one which extends to New Zealand. The common name refers to the flannel-like bracts.
