Baltimore Harbor

I was there in October for a gathering involving historic sailing vessels. Weather was not good (a lot of wind and rain which forced curtailment of some events) but I did manage to get off a couple of shots. The Sony A900 was used, lens aperture was f/16, and display intent is BGR.

These were shot from a floating dock which was not completely steady, so sharpness suffered a bit. The usual paint-pigment coloration is visible on the harbor skyline. the floating dinghy (motion-blurred) in the second frame exhibits similar color, perhaps due to UV-protective pigmentation.

Looks like ghostly figures of the past working on their old ship that has come back.

Interesting to see. Old ships in UV would probably show off all the repairs and holes that wouldn't normally be seen.

Great idea.
