Ultraviolet light: Nikon D40X, UV-Nikkor 105 mm f/4.5 lens, Baader U2" (Venus) filter, SB-140 flash.

 

The corolla of L. perenne exhibits a very high UV reflectivity so the flowers really shine as bright stars in UV light. The dark centre area makes a classic "bull's-eye" type pattern.
