ins13
EDITOR'S NOTE:  A body cap lens is "a very small lens mounted in a body cap".  Please look at the following link to immediately understand this:  https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/olympus-bcl-15mm-f8     Olympus em5FS, Olympus Body Cap 15mm f8 hand-hold, iso 1600, 1/13-1/30 s  zwb2 2mm + qb21 3mm the filters are fixed on a homemade holder assembled from a step-up ring, a metal plate and a screw      and this picture just for fun - a ray of sun fell under the filters   Olympus em5FS, Olympus fisheye Body Cap 9mm f8 hand-hold, iso 1600, 1/6-1/16 s     ZWB2+weak IR cut-off filter СЗС23  Link to comment
dabateman
Very nice. The 15mm f8 body cap looks usable. I also really like the ray of sun photo. The 15mm body cap is 3 elements in 3 groups. The 9mm fisheye is 5 elements in 4 groups and 2 of them are aspherical elements.  Link to comment

ins13
dabateman, thank you so much))Indeed, the body cap 15mm proved itself for UV shooting very well. I wonder if there is any better lens with such a wide angle  Cadmium, yes, body cap) miracles of Olympus lens-construction https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/olympus-bcl-15mm-f8Photos 3 and 4, yes, body cap 15mm f8, too. with switching colours Link to comment
Andy Perrin
Wow, that is really neat! I hadn’t heard of body cap lenses either. (Except pinhole, of course.) It seems to work well in UV. Link to comment
ins13
Yes, the 15 mm body cap is good. 9 mm is far worseIn addition to photos 15 mm cap with zwb2+QB21 I need to shoot some pictures with weak IR cut-off filter. By the color of the plants it will be clear how much of the ultraviolet passed through this lensThanks for the comment) Link to comment

These pics are not well explained. Link to comment
ins13
Filters are the same as on 1 and 2 pictures - zwb2 2 мм + qb21 3 ммI've shown a lot of pictures with this color scheme in other topics. nobody asked) therefore i didn't understood that it is necessary to explain it Blue and yellow are replaced by one another in LabColour Photoshop Link to comment
JCDowdy
Nice!  I have been meaning to test the little 15mm! Please show us how you mounted the filter. Link to comment
ins13
Thank you!!  This is assembled from1. a step-up ring, where the larger diameter corresponds to the size of the filter. My ring 62-77mm2. a metal strip sawn with a jigsaw, then bent. its shape and curves correspond to the size and shape of the step-up ring and the camera. it has a soft non-slip sticker for better fixation on camera .There is a long cut in the metal strip for the screw, long, not round - so you can move this one and make a manual moving the sharpness lever on lens.3. standard screw for camera like a tripod plate screwI usually do not fasten this screw firmly, so that there is a possibility of manipulation with the sharpness lever. just screwing it so it doesn't fall off. I hold the filter with my hand and a little press it to the lens. when I forgot to press, then there was that picture where a lot of colored bubbles I was going to make a sealing rim on the bottom side of the step-up ring for a better light insulation but in fact it turned out that this is not necessary, visible light leaks under the filter occur only if it is located too far or obliquely. if i follow its location, there are no visible light leaksin the pictures the filter holder were not moved all the way to be able see what and how  Link to comment

dabateman
That is a very cool setup. For my Panasonic 12.5mm 3D lens, I cut a 37mm to 52mm stepup ring and taped it to the lens. Â Yours is much more elegant.I was expecting just epoxying a ring to the cap. Link to comment
ins13
Thank you) I could not be taped then there would be no way to get to the sharpness handle... Link to comment
