ulf Posted August 6, 2019 Share Posted August 6, 2019 Really nice image, but it does not at all look like the colours I'm used to see from the BG3.Normally the foliage has some colour when the WB is done against the clouds. Is the processing complicated and a secret or can you share it, Bob? Link to comment
bobfriedman Posted August 6, 2019 Author Share Posted August 6, 2019 1) So I do a scene referred WB in camera which gives the brown/yellow rendered trees that you may find more familiar, but tends to provide a more blue/purple sky. 2) Then I process the image by first WB using the trees to whiten them where possible. 3) Then apply contrast and shadow recovery if required 4) Then turn off all color except for blue 5) Then adjust hue to provide a pure blue to the sky 5) Sharpen to taste.
