Walk from Exeter, New Hampshire to Haverhill, Massachusetts, US

These are my "Andychrome" pics using TIffen #12 from my 20.5 mile (33 km) walk from Exeter, New Hampshire south to Haverhill, Massachusetts. The processing is the same as documented in all my previous work with Tiffen #12, but with manual color adjustment using the Color Balance tool in Photoshop to increase the amount of blue and red in the shadows. In my opinion this improved the images, but each one was adjusted separately (not in a batch), so things like the sky color vary a bit from picture to picture. I'm not sure whether I'll continue this in the future.

"DO NOT FEED GEESE"

A bird bath that seems to be part of the overgrown remnants of what must have once been gorgeous formal gardens at Winnekenni Castle in Haverhill.

(Bob: this seems like your thing. Grab your fisheye and go for it.)

I really like the diversity of colors!

especially in the third photo

Thank you, my favorite colors were the 4th photo, late in the day when the light went cold and watery. Not as diverse as the third photo but it was kind of magical in the woods.

Yes, very gentle shades in 4th

I also observe that when the sun is low and evidently the share of IR becomes larger, the vegetation appears lighter in the images with such kind of filters. and in FS images too.

Andy, forgive the lateness of this comment as I'm still playing catch-up. But I had to say how much I liked the cow photo! That green nose is so cute.

I always enjoy your Walk Photos. Wish I could still do 20 miles, but not these days. Your various walks would make for a nice book.
