Adrian
I have just returned from a wonderful 3 week trip to Costa Rica, photographing the fabulous wildlife there (toucans, sloths, monkeys etc.)I took two Convoy torches with me for the night walks in the rain forest, and was astounded that some of the lichens lit up like Christmas trees. Logistically, the images were difficult, working in the dark at night! Technical Details: UVF: Nikon D810, 105mm micro-Nikkor lens, approx 20 seconds f/16, 200 ISO, light painted with Convoy S2+ UV LED torch. Link to comment
Guest
Awesome find Adrian. Just curious - for such outdoor night shots, do you filter your S2+ also? Link to comment
Adrian
Mark,Thanks for the comment. Yes I have a cheap ZWB2 UV bandpass filter on it. It is a cheap one from eBay (?Chinese) The proper one would cost me a lot as I would have to pay import duty from the US! Link to comment
