GaryR
I'm trying out a Tiffen #15 Orange, instead of my usual #12 Yellow, for Aerochrome processing. The main difference that I've noticed is that visual red, clothing, tail-lights, stop signs, etc., are slightly more yellow with the #15 filter, than the #12. The #12 tends to lean more towards green. I'm still stacking the #15/#12 filters with a Xnite CC2, and processing with the Spiker aerochrome profile. Lots of post adjustments, but easier than channel swaps. FS-converted Sony a7R with Nikkor 50mm/f1.8 Ai lens on all shots. Link to comment

Cadmium
Yep, the last one (#7) is quite striking, it is my favorite also.I like #5 also, it is 2nd, and the tank (#6) is 3rd.Very fun look. Link to comment
dabateman
I actually like image 5 the best. The scenery, composition and two red figures walking towards me are engaging. I am most likely warped, but see the man with sunglasses on the right pulling out some weapon to clear the dogs out. Link to comment
ins13
it's beautiful! all! but my favorite is 5th, too. Love the color of the sky and the color of the water Link to comment
GaryR
Thanks David ! You never know what people are up to, but everyone was well behaved that day. We met the lady on the far left (5th shot), who mentioned that muskrats are living in the marsh area around the oil tanks (6th shot). Thanks Eka ! Actually, I was inspired to try the Orange #15, after seeing your work. This technique does make the lake (Erie) look a lot nicer than the silty brown color that it really is, but is still one of my favourite places to take pictures all year round. Link to comment
ins13
Lake Erie ? I knew it was big, but I never thought it looked like the sea. and the shore is like a sea coast. And there is construction similar to lighthouse) Is this lighthouse? it finally paints picture of the sea in my head Now I am inspired by you to try all the other yellow and orange filters along with different IR cutoff filters :) Their various combinations.Your photos are wonderful . And such a beautiful place!! Link to comment
GaryR
Thanks again Eka!That's an unattended lighthouse beacon at the end of the Port Stanley pier. It used to be a treacherous walk out to the end of the pier, but now it's been re-developed for safety. Lots of equally interesting ports along all the Great Lakes, but this one is most familiar to me. Link to comment
