Wildflower in botanical garden

Comment:

Chrysogonum virginianum, native to the southeastern US woodlands, is reported by some to have hallucinogenic properties yet it is widely sold by plant nurseries. The flower has a classical UV-bullseye. The involucre and abaxial leaf surface show a different UV tonality (false UV-blue) than the upper leaf surface which is UV-black.
