Ratio of UVA to UVB

UVA(320-400nm)/UVB(280-320nm) = 20 when solar elevation > 60°

UVA(315-400nm)/UVB(280-315nm) = 41 when solar elevation > 60°

It is useful to look at only the UV portion of the solar spectrum in order to understand why we cannot UV image well around 300 nm in sunlight. Nothing there to UV image with.
