DonPilou
Good afternoon! I have finally achieved a good portrait with studio strobe : here the Broncolor Pulso G 3200J. I was so surprised by the UV power delivered that the final RAW was overexposed... Gear : Canon 6D FS + Nikon EL 105mm + Kolari UV filterEXIF : 105mm, F/5.6, 1600iso, 1/100s. I am pretty sure I could have reached F/8 and 800iso in this configuration. The focus is not perfect, but for the first test I am happy with this result. I will do better the next time . Andrea B.
They already exist! Google. However, you are still supposed to wear sunglasses even with UV-block contact lenses because they don't cover all the eye. "-( Link to comment
DonPilou
Don't worry Andrea, I am the first concerned by UV safety. Here the amount of UV light is negligible compared with the visible light emitted by the flash. The use of a large diffuser helped to offer a large emission of UV light contrary to a focused source.
