I lost the labels of this potted plant, which I received as a present. I have no idea about species and genus, so I cannot make a formal post.

Converted Lumix G3 with CoastalOpt 60 mm Apo, PrimaLuceLab UV filter, Bowens Gemini 500 R with uncoated tube.

Minor luminance and contrast adjustments in post-processing, no color remapping, no channel swapping.

In the first picture, note the fully developed flower on the right, the flower bud on the left, and on a leaf under the flower bud the desiccated remains of an earlier flower stalk (yes, it shrinks this much after falling and drying).

Edit: added pictures with Baader UVIR cut and Baader U, for comparison.

Interesting flower ... just would like to know its name, but is unknown to me as well. It's apparently a dicot that's all I can say for now.

Well, at least the genus. However there are nearly 200 known species ...

The name "parachute plant" seems particularly apt, though.
