A creeping species native to eastern US, introduced elsewhere. It is used as an ornamental plant as well.

Ultravioletl ight: Nikon D40X, UV-Nikkor 105 mm f/4.5 lens, Baader UV/IR Cut filter, SB-140 flash.

 

The UV signature reveals medium bright reflective corolla and dark anthers. Otherwise the overall appearance is quite similar to the visible counterpart.
