Senecio cakilefolius DC., Senecio arenarius auct. non Thunb. This annual species is a common sight in the flower meadows on the drier plains of Western and Northern Cape provinces of South Africa. The radiate flower heads are very prominent with their mauve rays once the stands are well developed. S. arenarius is frequently found in the company of small Felicia spp. Link to comment
