colinbm
This Hibiscus grows at my front fence, along with a few more.I have finally got the Panasonic G3 singing in my hands (or it certainly has got me singing for it :) )I have nearly got focus right on these.Single shots with Panasonic G3, with a Wollensak 1" f1.9 C-Mount lens. The flower didn't fill the m4/3 sensor frame, close-up, so I made a 2mm thick washer to place between the C-Mount & the adapter & that allowed the flower to fill the frame nicely. The full 5mm thick C/CS adapter was too thick. This flower is about 6" / 150mm diameter. Panasonic G3 converted, & with a Wollensak 1" f1.9 C-Mount lens, CWB with a Sigma Hot Mirror for visible light.Camera settings, ISO 200, f11 at 1/20th seconds. Panasonic G3 converted, & with a Wollensak 1" f1.9 C-Mount lens, CWB with a Baader U2 for UV light.Camera settings, ISO 200, f3 at 8 seconds. Daylight was enhanced with a MTE 365nm flashlight, without the reflector. CheersCol PS, I have checked out the aperture & bokeh & found that I had the aperture too wide open. At f8 the bokeh was much better.Col Link to comment
