Wildflower

Synonyms:

  • Myosotis scorpioides var. arvensis L.

Comment:

Found along the street shoulder. The tiny flower is UV-absorbing, slightly darker around the throat. There were not enough blooms available to find the typical Myosotis fade from UV-dark to UV-light which occurs with flower age. The non-flat corolla and ascending calyx are two key points which aid in identification of M. arvensis.
