Andrea B.
Blum, A.G. (2015) Myosotis arvensis (L.) Hill (Boraginaceae) Field Forget-Me-Not. Flowers photographed in ultraviolet and visible light. http://www.ultraviol...-forget-me-not/ Causeway Lane, Southwest Harbor, Maine, USA19 August 2014Wildflower Synonyms:Myosotis scorpioides var. arvensis L.Comment:Found along the street shoulder. The tiny flower is UV-absorbing, slightly darker around the throat. There were not enough blooms available to find the typical Myosotis fade from UV-dark to UV-light which occurs with flower age. The non-flat corolla and ascending calyx are two key points which aid in identification of M. arvensis. Reference:1. New England Wild Flower Society (2015) Myosotis arvensis (L.) Hill.
