Will members from other continents please add their recommendations? CLASSIC UV-BULLSEYEOf these, Dandelions and Sunflowers are most easily found. Beggarticks/Bidens :: Bidens ferulifoliaAnnual bedding plant. Black-eyed Susan :: Rudbeckia hirta, R. fulgida, R. triloba.Grows wild in some locations.Popular, perennial bedding plant.Often seen in public gardens. Butter Daisy, Blackfoot Daisy :: Melampodium paludosum (alias M. diverticarum)Annual bedding plant. Creeping Zinnia :: Sanvitalia procumbensAnnual bedding plant.Cultivar 'Sunbini' is often seen in public gardens. Dandelion :: Taraxacum officinaleA spring-blooming weed to most folks. But so pretty in UV.Blooms in spring in lawns, gardens and other areas with disturbed soil. Mexican Zinnia :: Zinnia haageanaOther zinnias may not exhibit a patterned UV-signature.Annual bedding plant. Sunflower :: Helianthus sp.Grows wild in some locations.Easy to grow from seed.Sold by flower vendors in grocery stores or florist shops. FALSE BI-COLOURHarder to find in public gardens, but they are very cool in UV. Danford's Iris, Dwarf Iris :: Iris danfordiaeSpring bloomer. Jerusalem Sage :: Phlomis fruticosaPerennial, shrub-like.Seen more often now in public gardens.
