Comment:

This pea flower, found along a rocky coastal shore, is striking in UV with UV-dark keels and false blue banners.

I have done a few Lathyrus spp. in UV and none had this nice differential UV signature. Seen in other genera of the Fabaceae, though.

 

The conical cell development on the keel is documented here in an exemplary manner.
