We need some good, authoritative online botanical references for Australia. Ideally the references should be those for which we have expectations of continuity and ongoing maintenance.

do you know if the Swanse area in Tasmania is amendable for beekeeping? I have some Chinese friends who has bought land there and they are inquiring what to do with 400 acres :) :)

Yes, I'm sure that bee keeping is just fine in Tasmania http://tasmanianbeekeepers.org.au/ with several honey manufacturers across the island.
