Other Common Name:

  • Dutch clover
  • White Dutch clover

Comment:

White clover grows almost everywhere and is an important honey plant for honey bees in Michigan. Photographs taken at Michigan State University Bee Biology Building -- I had a StateNews interview on that day. It was just after rain so the clover inflorescence had many water drops, these became much more profound under UV. UV signature of this flower is similar to other legumes with mostly black and some bluish false color.
