Wildflower

Synonyms:

  • Potentilla tridentata Aiton
  • Sibbaldia tridentata (Aiton) Paule & Soják

Comment:

S. tridentata was recently moved from genus Potentilla to become the sole member of genus Sibbaldiopsis. The plant forms a mat if left to grow undisturbed and is often used as a cultivated groundcover. The 5-petaled white flower is uniformly UV-dark.
