This is a nice picture, striking. It feels a bit oversharpened on my screen, so it takes a bit away.

Yeah I completely agree. I made the fatal mistake of not waiting 24hr with a pair of fresh eyes to check before posting, must remember to do that. I underexposed it by at least 3 stops, it was a complete nightmare to fix in post because the blue background was so noisy. Also I've discovered the use of a colour dodge brush and with whites that's kind of dangerous! Check out the disastrous dodging between the 2nd and 3rd hairs on the bottom, argh. Anyhow early days, I'm sure I'll get it right in time.
