I seriously have no smart phone, and my cell phone doesn't even take photos.

I wonder if they have back scratcher attachments for the selfie sticks. Maybe then I might find one useful.

Is that what the little girl on the grass is playing with? A selfie stick? And what is that guy in the stairs doing with his? Waving at someone with it?

Yes, and they play on the grass, and waving for attract attention and perhaps even scratching themselves :D

Cadmium I do not have a selfie stick and therefore I do not understand all the subtleties of the art of owning this device. But I guess those who owns it get a lot of joy from owning them :D

In any case mostly tourists are at the photos. It is vital for them to photograph themselves: "no pictures - then it never happened"

Another time I will show photos from the outskirts of the city, where there are almost no tourists, there is a situation with selfie sticks and smartphones a little better. a little bit better

moms with strollers cross the road looking into the smartphone and not on the road

and so on...

People walking and looking at smartphones are called zombies here :)

The UV adds an intriguing look to these photos! Selfies are also rampant here in big cities like Toronto, but mostly cell zombies where I live. I find that people are far more accepting of smart phones than digital cameras. I'd likely be arrested if I took shots like these in public, with my regular camera gear, but no one would bat an eye, if I used a smartphone.

Yes, people are much more like a zombie in UV light than in the visible. Such fact add raisins to this bun...

I agree that with a digital camera there is much less opportunity for photographing among the people. and smartphones are everywhere - as a device for shooting. It is necessary to have a UV-smartphone. and to shoot ultraviolet portraits of all, any ones. And no one will be paying attention. Then will be many UV portraits :)

I have made an infrared smartphone without difficulties but so far UV is beyond me. The tiny cameras in the past were not up to the job and also (I think) blocked UV with their lenses.

It would appear so. I was just dreaming about it. just in case, for the future. may be then I'll become a photographer by smartphone :)

Not only zombies are among us but also dolls))

Good name, Zombies, Man drove into my lane today, looked down into his car from my higher vehicle, he was glued to his texting while driving, with his young son in the car...

Second time this has happened, drunk drivers seems safer.

Zombie filter... hmm...

Yes the man and woman in post #7 look like zombies.
