The night life of a meadow

Recommended Posts

Walk through the meadow with a camera and UV flashlight but without a tripod. And for this reason the quality of photos is "not Studio" but i just wanted to shoot as it is in the nature

I had wondered and continue to wonder why the fluorescence of herbs is blue. Chlorophyll fluorescence must be red like the fluorescence of leaves of trees and shrubs.

Cool shots.

I have found that at least so far, monocots fluoresce blue and dicots fluoresce red. In have a thread somewhere about that.

Not sure why yet though.

Please be careful not to bathe any living creatures in UV light for too long a time. We are not sure of the effects on insects or animals.

Andrea, yes, sure!! I always remember that! I shoot at short exposures, never use a tripod in such situations. And I never direct ultraviolet light on animals that have eyelids and/or bare skin.
