Hi, I am a hobbyist equipped with Nikon DSLRs and lenses. I recently bought some UV and IR filters that block the visible spectrum, and I hope the standard sensors will be able to capture some of those wavelengths.

I hope the members can help me identify subjects, select suitable lenses, and find out how to use lighting and editing.

Read the stickies and other general sections. Then just try out with your own stuff. UV (and to a slightly lesser extent, IR) involves a steep learning curve.

 

After some practice the process becomes easier to visualise and complete.

Have you already converted your camera to the full spectrum?
