Bob, I wonder if a short wavelength narrow band filter like Andrea’s 340BP20 might give even sharper images due to less diffraction? This is already very very sharp, I just wonder how far one can push it!

you have to be careful since i don't think these shots are very deep in the UV.. so if it is a 20nm passband centered on 340nm it may not work for me.

 

i guess i should try and borrow one...
