GaryR
A few b&w IR shots from the Sigma sd Quattro using Monochrome mode (max contrast, 'R' filtering effect). @ 720nm. I couldn't figure out why the sdQ produced such poor b&w IR, until I changed the color "Filtering Effect" setting in monochrome mode. Selecting 'R" red drastically improved the IR black skies and white foliage effect, with no color to b&w conversion needed. As you might expect, selecting 'B' blue works best for mono UV. Andrea B.
Nice work, Gary. I like seeing IR street scenes. ((And I see that they do the same chop job on the poor trees where you live that they do here!! It's amazing that the trees continue to do OK!!)) Link to comment

Much appreciated Andrea! These were all taken in Toronto, were my son lives. There are some wonderful natural parks and spaces in the GTA, but trees don't stand a chance on narrow side streets like this! Link to comment
