I think I originally posted these on the old Nikongear?

The dandelion involucre (look for buds) is IR-dark. Interesting. Capture NX2.

Ultraviolet with BaaderU UV-Pass and 365nm UV-Led

Three white balances. The 365 UV-Led seems to produce a lot of false yellow. So if I WB on false yellow, then I should get false blue. Check.

These conversions made in Photo Ninja tonight.

WB made on dark aster.

WB made on Dandelion center.

I like "Ultraviolet with BaaderU UV-Pass and 365nm UV-Led" in the first one.

The post number 2 images look like you really leaned into the detail slider, which I normally like, but I think it's starting to show artifacts here?

Was post 2 an experiment of some kind?

They were all kind of experimental except perhaps for the 1st Visible and 3rd IR093 fotos which are traditionally converted, finished and cropped. I was playing around, pushing colour into IR and UV fotos and also trying off-center crops.

Except for the 3 white balance experiments made tonight in Photo Ninja, everything was converted and finished in Capture NX2. I didn't have Photo Ninja and its detail slider back in 2010/2011. So I think it is probably the strong, saturated colour in the first Post #2 photo which creates some harsh edges and jangles when used on a low-toned, mostly white, noisy IR photograph??

However, that Photo Ninja detail slider can be almost mimic-ed (sp??) in a USM sharpening tool by using a low intensity, high radius setting like (5,100,0). So I might have done that in the first Post #2 photo? Don't really remember anymore. :D

Here is a more delicate 092IR (approx 695nm cut-in, reaches 50% transmission at about 720 nm) version.
