Schott UG2A - New Filter Glass

Schott UG2A is a new addition to the Schott filter glass catalog.

UG2A at 3mm thick compares quite similarly to UG1 at 1mm thick.

There may be various possible uses for this new U glass.

For example, it could be used for extended UV+Blue+Green transmission (depending on thickness).

It may also be useful for dual band IR photos.
