Hornblende
It is not spring yet but a lot of grocery stores sell ornemental bulbous plants. I recently bought a Crocus and I am now gratified by these nice purple flowers :) Photo taken with my iphone I took three pictures using my ASImm-s astro-camera with three different filters for astrophotography (blue, green and IR 850nm) and combined them to obtain the image bellow. The blue picture was assigned to the blue channel, the green picture to the green channel and the IR picture to the red channel.Unfortunately I couldn't do any UV picture, my unique source of light is an incandescent lampe. The result is not very far from a pure IR image but we can see some difference between the three flowering stages of the flower. Link to comment

Andrea B.
It might be nice to lift the midtone curve in this photo to show more of the detail. Or brighten it up in some other way? Just a thought. Link to comment
