Eremophila glabra subsp. glabra is the most widespread and ubiquitous of the many subspecies and occurs in Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. The corolla is commonly red or, more rarely, yellow. The shape and colour of the corolla is typical of bird-pollinated Eremophilas.
