prutchi
My youngest daughter and I recently took a trip to Peru. Along my Canon 6D, I took my modified Canon T1i so that I could take UV and IR pictures. For our flight over the Nasca Lines I built a bracket to hold the cameras side-by-side, and rigged them to fire simultaneously. We flew on board a Cessna Grand Caravan, and the movements over the lines are quite brisk, so I wasn’t able to focus and tweak exposure. As such, I simply set focus to infinity, exposure to something that seemed reasonable, and hoped for the best. The only thing that I was not satisfied about is that I was not able to get good pictures from simultaneous shots. By the way, no aliens were spotted anywhere ;) Posted more pictures at: http://uvirimaging.com/2016/07/09/near-infrared-850-nm-pictures-of-the-nasca-nazca-lines-in-peru/ Cheers, Davidwww.UVIRimaging.com Link to comment
Andrea B.
This must have been great fun to fly over and see. This is a funny, big-footed, round-eyed fellow, isn't he? I also liked the one with the big hands on your website. Cool stuff!! Link to comment
