Australian Native Wildflower as Garden Specimen

Crowea exalata subsp. revoluta is endemic in Victoria where it is restricted to an area between Bendigo and Kamarooka, mainly in the Whipstick Scrub where it is found in mallee communities on ironstone ridges.

Another new one for me, Dave. Very elegant flower which is striking in the UV with the bright center against the dark.

Yes, I was also surprised by the UV bright centre, none of the other taxa in this family which I have taken respond in the same way. We will try to find other Crowea to see how general it is.
