Vendor Policy

UltravioletPhotography.com usually does not approve membership for vendors of photography equipment, software or services. We have a limited number of vendor members who are legacies from earlier UV/IR websites where they were members before they became vendors.

 

 

Vendor members who sell photography equipment, software or services are subject to the following policy.

• UltravioletPhotography.com (UVP) bears no liability either for Vendor products or for product content of Vendor posts.
  

• Neither UVP nor its Owners receive any income or compensation from any Vendors of photographic equipment, software or services.
  

• UVP Owners may test Vendor products and post written reviews and opinions of Vendor products, but such reviews and opinions by UVP are not to be construed as an inducement for Member purchases of the reviewed products.
  

• UVP will permit a one-time announcement and discussion of a new Vendor product in a post pre-approved by either Birna or Andrea.
  

• Vendor members may not discuss their business in comments or topics on UVP.
  

• Vendor members may provide general information about products during the course of a typical topic but may not reference sales of that product or refer to their business in such a post.
  

• Vendor members might be placed into a Vendor member group or given a title reflecting their status.
  

• Regular members are asked not to shill for a Vendor member.
