Goodenia pinnatifida is found in arid or semi-arid regions of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia where it can form large colonies after autumn rains.

Finding unexpected patterns like these is what makes UV photography exciting.

Well done Dave. Apparently the D750 makes your UV105 shine.

The Goodenia species that I have taken seem to have very strong UV-dark nectar guides which also appear different in the UVIVFL. Perhaps one day I'll get my head around it all but until then it's fascinating collecting all the images. I'm very happy with the D750. These were taken in my 'dark room' but the camera comes into its own in the field with the screen tilting so you don't have to get a cricked neck anymore
