The squirrels in Central Park are practically tame. Stick out a hand at them and they come to beg for food. This explains how I could take a picture with a 19 mm lens.

 

However, they keep flitting around. I missed a few good details of a squirrel's face peeping at close range into the lens because AF was not fast enough to follow the squirrel's nose.

That is a great UV squirrel foto, Enrico. It's nice to see some animal fotos.

Now I know where to go to find squirrels which will get close enough for a portrait!
