Shane
To the owners of the CO 60/4: Do you think (or experience) the 210 degree focus throw is too short for IR landscape focus stacking? My concerns are based on a statement made by a CO60 owner, that a small change in focus may result in a large change in subject focus distance when used in the non-macro range. Link to comment
nfoto
I'd say he is right. If such as lens is to be used for focus stacking of landscapes, you really need a good LiveView and the ability to zoom in on minute detail. Using the focus ring on its own is hopeless for this purpose. That being said, I have used the Coastal 60 for panorama stitching and found little need for additional stacking. It all depends on the subject I assume. Link to comment
Andrea B.
Can a device like the Shootstacker be used for landscapes? Link to comment
