colinbm
Every dog has its day & I am wagging my tail excitedly.I have just shot a hole-in-one.I was shooting a stack of images of the Poinsettia in Ultra Violet Induced Visible light Fluorescence (UVIVF).One frame, to my surprised scored the jackpot, by recording the seed pod (top) exploding open & releasing the three seeds. An effective double exposure in one, 25 second shot.CheersCol Poinsettia Flower in UVIVF showing the seed pod (top) before & after the three seeds were released. The light cyan coloured part is the remaining core.Approx 600 watt of mixed UVA lighting, to induce the fluorescence.Camera, Sigma SD15 dSLR with internal IRC, 100 ISO, f11, 25 seconds, 105mm Macro lens at close to 1:1 magnification.
